Project Description

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is an airport in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is the largest airport in the Delaware Valley Region. It is the 10th busiest airport in the world in terms of aircraft activity. PHL is the second largest hub in addition to being an international hub for American Airlines providing service to destinations in the US, Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. PHL is managed by the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Aviation.

  • Documentation and assessment of all exterior cable routes and fiber-optic communications entry points
  • Determination of main communications distribution locations
  • Identifying facilities and communications media transition locations and configurations for all DOA-owned or leased facilities
  • Development of airport wide fiber-optic cabling schematics
  • Preparation of cabling schedule and communication room location drawings
