Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport serves more than 30 million passengers each year. With two new passenger terminals, 145 gates, six jet runways, and two modern Federal Inspection Services facilities for international arrivals. DTW is one of the busiest airports in the United States and among the world’s largest air transportation hubs. The airport offers service to more than 160 non-stop destinations around the globe.
Project Description
CCTV System Improvements
Responsible for the design and development of a new communications infrastructure that included inside plant cabling improvements and a new local area network to support the improvements to the CCTV system.
Security & Infrastructure Master Plan
Responsible for developing strategic, operational, and business requirements providing short-term and long-term recommendations related to the communications infrastructure, specifically the cabling infrastructure, the Administrative local area network, and the Security local area network.
Security Systems & Network Upgrade, Phase 1
Responsible for the design and development of a new communications infrastructure that included outside plant cabling and a local area network. The outside plant cabling consists of an initial implementation of an inner loop to support the development of a campus backbone distribution system. The new local area network consists of enterprise class core layer and edge layer switches to support the unification and consolidation of separate networks on the airport campus.
